Engineers on the team today:
- Manual and automated testing of Angular web application
- Manual and automated API testing
- Work in Selenium Webdriver using Java
- Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design
- Document test cases
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Are supportive—especially when teammates are faced with new challenges
- Are encouraged to autonomously figure out the solutions to their challenges
- Value clear communication, as we do a lot of reading & writing
- Are naturally curious and open to initiate learning something they don’t have experience in yet
- Build extreme ownership and feel a great sense of accountability to each other
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of working full-time as a QA engineer (End to End and API tests)
- 1+ years experience in web-based Test Automation ( Selenium Webdriver )
- API testing (Postman, REST-assured, Jmeter, Swagger, SoapUI)
- Experience with programming language (preferable java)
- Experience with DB (SQL, NoSQL)
- Experience with integration and exploratory testing
- Experience with test management tools (Jira, Trello, TestRail)
Nice to have: - event-driven architecture using Kafka
- performance and security testing
- experience with mobile applications manual/automated testing (Appium, Swift, Android SDK)
- experience with sockets (SocketIO)
- familiarity with docker, Kubernetes
Here are examples of things we’ve worked on:
- Testing an Angular template rendering engine that can be included in any Angular application
- Testing a WYSIWYG Drag&Drop editor for the UI to be rendered by the aforementioned rendering engine
- Testing an event-driven microservices setup for both core engine and plugins used by thousands of clients in production
- Testing a BPMN process engine
Team
- You will be part of the Engineering team and work closely with the Development teams
- The team is made up of roles like Frontend, Mobile, DevOps, QA, Product Owner, CTO
