The Accountant Specialist contributes to the overall efficient operation of the department and of the company and helps us be fully aware of our financial condition. This is the very important base we need to further make the right decisions and accomplish long-term success.

To succeed as an Accounting Specialist, you should be committed to providing efficient, reliable support to accounting department members, other departments, and external parties. You should be trustworthy, and thorough, with excellent time management skills.

Your main focus:

• Maintaining accurate and complete records, including journals, invoices, receipts, and all relevant information related to clients, partners & suppliers
• Speaking with vendors and suppliers to ensure charges are accurate and that payments are received promptly
• Assisting the financial department in daily, monthly, and annual activities, including generating financial reports, developing budgets, preparing taxes, assisting with audits, and resolving discrepancies
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed

Experience & skill set you need to succeed:

• 3+ years experience in a similar role
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles & practices, and current financial legislation
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software
• Excellent organizing abilities and great attention to detail
• Good with numbers and figures and analytical thinking
• Exceptional time management and communication skills
• Readiness & resilience to do the grinding work to hit team results
• You are a self-starter and enjoy proactive learning and problem-solving with minimal supervision.
• BSc/Ba in accounting or finance.
• Qualifications (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) are a plus but not required
