Mission
The Accountant ensures the financial integrity of the organization through meticulous management of its financial resources. As an Accountant, you will support financial decision-making by delivering accurate, timely, and relevant financial information, complying with all regulatory requirements, and fostering financial best practices within the organization.
How you will bring impact from your role
Accountant responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. As a successful Accountant, you should combine excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.
Your day-to-day activity will include:
- Record, track and correct transactions
- Process financial transactions, maintain a record of these transactions, and reconcile discrepancies
- Reconcile the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
- Manage income and expenditure accounts
- Keep a check on the company’s finances based on financial status
- Prepare and deliver accurate, comprehensive financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements) on a regular schedule, and whenever they are requested by management
- Review, analyze, and interpret financial data to provide insights into the organization's financial performance. Assist in the formulation of budget and financial plans
- File and remit taxes and other financial obligations
- Initiate and manage financial and accounting software
Experience & skill set you need to succeed:
- 3-5 years of experience in the technical support industry (L2/L3)
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand the product and technical complexities
- Customer-centric attitude, with the ability to listen-to-understand
- Solution-oriented approach with a can-do attitude
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge or understanding of Java, JavaScript, Kubernetes and cloud-native applications - would be a plus and would help you accelerate in your role
- A Bachelor degree or a combination of education and experience in engineering/information systems will give you a solid base to rely on
- English - full work proficiency
